A woodsman returned to camp after a hard day felling trees. At the camp's mess table, the woodsman's supervisor asked about the quantity of timber downed that
day.
The lumberjack averred that lacked precise data on the quantity of wood processed, but could obtain them: "I don't know, sir. I will have to check the logs."
