What's Going On For NYE?
I usually stay home at this point, I'm not a fan of driving on amateur night. But a friend from the old days is hosting a house concert, so it's bourbon and
live music this year for me.

Sounds awesome. I am watching the Dwayne Gretzky livestream with my family. Their livestreams are always awesome.

The NYE stream from Dwayne Gretzky was out of this world!
I spent most of New Year's Day working on my guitars, which was cool. The paint making process is very labor-intensive: https://www.instagram.com/p/C1km0kfuw2Y/

@zerosugarTest Thanks! The glass muller is amazing, but I still end up with
tiny clumps of pigment in the paint. I may not be using perfect technique. But I hit upon the idea of wiping the paint with a cloth in long strokes, and it
works perfectly. I checked out the results last night and the first two coats look amazing with the silver powder glimmering brilliantly. Will update my IG
later today.

Here you go, the second pic is with two coats of custom mixed paint: https://www.instagram.com/p/C1qe9_9Lv4F/
I intend to put about five to seven coats on it, then varnish, then automotive clear coat for durability. This is one of the two test bodies, and I'm doing
these before the final just to see how a whole guitar body looks with my technique. The final ones will be more perfect than this. It's enjoyable, though
tedious waiting several days for each coat of paint to dry. This should take about three months.

That color looks bad ass. Maybe you can even charge others to paint their instruments. Seems like a nice part time hustle.
