Poll: JDU feature requests
Would anyone actually use the following features if I go to the significant trouble of implementing them on here?
1. Photo uploads (seems like allowing people to embed Instagram would be easier and would also help limit spam because IG has moderation already).
2. Mentions/tags in posts, where you can tag other users to try to involve them in the discussion. The tagged users get notifications.
3. A "follow" feature where you can follow other users or particular posts and get notifications in a box.
4. An "active users" feature that shows who is online at any particular moment.
5. Private chat with other users (one or more).
For multiple compliance, technical, and administrative reasons, it's not going to be possible to edit your posts on your own. What you post is what you get, so
feel free to spell-check before hitting submit. If you accidentally post some defamatory or copyrighted material, notify me via email with the link and I'll
consider deleting it, which is easy (for me). Thanks.
