A solution to the problem of North Korea

1.  Single combat by the leaders of North and South Korea with pistols at 20 yards.  If Kim Jong Un wins, North Korea stays separate from the world for another
20 years.  If Yoon Suk Yeol wins, North Korea reunifies with South Korea.

or

2.  Capture the flag deathmatch using real weapons by an agreed-upon section of North and South Korea's militaries.  The intention would be to demonstrate which
country would win an actual war, without having to fight the actual war.  Outcomes are the same as #1.

What would your solution be?

how about allowing Japan to rearm as a check to China and North Korea? Haven’t they not had an air force since WWII?

although even with the usa behind south korea and money flowing, not much has been done to deter the north. japan rearming and becoming strong again could be a
game changer though. the history between koreans and japanese is iffy though so it may be hard!

One thing that seems like it could work is restarting F-22 production and exporting it to Japan and South Korea.  It would be a hell of a start to their Air
Force.
