Anyone read any good books lately? I have a Tom Clancy collection at my office. Clear and Present Danger is the greatest geopolitical thriller of all time.
If science fiction is your thing, I recommend The Forever War by Joe Haldeman.

The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao, Junot Diaz. Pretty epic in scale and Latino/ghetto at the same time. About a fat nerdy Dominican boy from the hood trying
to lose his virginity but failing, but really a lot more than that.
Clancy I liked too. Sum of All Fears is my favorite. You might also like Bill Clinton's Clancy-esque The President is Missing. It's actually not half bad of a
political thriller
