I got COVID and all I had was a ringing ear for half a day.  It did nothing to me.  I took the Johnson & Johnson jab after that, solely because a COVID vaccine
was required in order to enter Canada for an important event that I was going to, and they accepted one-dose J&J.  I got my ticket punched, as that's all I
needed to go on the trip.  I then got a Pfizer booster later on.  So yes, "statist boot licker" here.  I laugh at Anti-Vaxxers except they do have a point that
mRNA vaccines are untested and should probably not have been rushed to market.

@AndyTest, the whole "untested" thing is flat earther propaganda. They went through
the entire standard FDA testing process, the difference is that red tape was cut and some steps that are normally sequential were performed simultaneously.
Additionally, the process is not newly developed. A lot of the technology is decades old, having already been developed for SARS and Ebola, but there wasn't
much of a commercial market for it before Covid.

Ah, good point.  I do sometimes have clients who oppose COVID vaccines for their minor kids, and the best I can do is tell them to say what I said here.  I'll
look up the SARS and Ebola tech so I can address that argument in the future, thanks for the tip!

I graphed my law firm's financial performance, and the COVID lockdown was the worst thing that ever happened to me or my firm.  What a disaster.  So many
bankruptcies in that time frame, and I thank my lucky stars that I wasn't one of them.

Glad you made it through. The lockdown was a nightmare, though through mostly dumb luck I still work in house for a health care company, so if anything Covid
helped my career a little.

I got the vaccination but not the boosters. 

I had covid in Jan 2021 before the vaccines. I lost my taste and smell for like 4 days which really sucked. That's the only reason why I got it. But then the
2nd vaccine made me feel like shit so i didnt' get the booster. Got covid again in June 2022 oh well but didn't lose taste or smell.
