The recently active user list is dysfunctional because of a bunch of bots and web crawlers

I'm going to fix it, it's just going to give an understated guest count until then.  The recent users list only looks at the last 500 log file lines, which used
to correspond to a couple of hours but is now a few minutes due to the bots and web crawlers that are now on here.  Nice to see that search indexes now care
about this site, but it's still annoying.
