moisture2 from private IP /all 10 hour layover in Houston tomorrow What should I do?????????????????????? Thu, 15 Feb 2024 06:58:42 -0800
shithead from private IP /all Rent a cra, go see the Menil Collection in Montrose, then have lunch or dinner at nearby Hugo's and afterward sit down at Agora to look at Hot Chicks and read a book. Weather's going to be shitty, so you'll have to keep it indoors. Houston is underrated. Thu, 15 Feb 2024 06:59:17 -0800
Andy from private IP /all Go on a pub crawl at the airport? Thu, 15 Feb 2024 07:05:30 -0800
shithead from private IP /all IAH sucks, especially for ten hours. Hotwire says he can get a cra for $24 at IAH. It's a half-hour from the airport to Montrose, which would give him probably six hours in town, depending on immigration. Thu, 15 Feb 2024 07:07:46 -0800
Andy from private IP /all If they start asking @moisture2Test questions about Ayahuasca, he could easily be stuck in immigration for hours. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ayahuasca Thu, 15 Feb 2024 07:21:55 -0800
shithead from private IP /all Also, ten hours of pub crawling at IAH would be more than fabioshit's budget for like seven years in Ecuador. Thu, 15 Feb 2024 07:29:50 -0800
moisture2 from private IP /all I'm bringing Chirimoyas and organic coffee as gifts, but not Ayahuasca. 10 hours of pub crawling sounds awful. In fact I very rarely drink anymore. If I drink, it's 1 or 2 whiskeys or scotch with πŸ‡·πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡·πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡·πŸ‡ΊRussianπŸ‡·πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡·πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡·πŸ‡Ί friends. Thu, 15 Feb 2024 07:37:48 -0800
shithead from private IP /all It’s less than 14 hours driving from IAH to Omahomo. Thu, 15 Feb 2024 09:46:20 -0800
Andy from private IP /all @moisture2Test I should put in a macro here that replaces the Russian flag with the flag of the USSR or something. I think that would be amusing. Thu, 15 Feb 2024 21:20:40 -0800
moisture2 from private IP /all Ballin at the United Lounge now Thu, 15 Feb 2024 21:21:56 -0800
Andy from private IP /all @moisture2Test How does the United Polaris Lounge compare with the AMEX Centurion Lounge? I've only been to the AMEX lounge, which was packed and felt like nothing special. Thu, 15 Feb 2024 21:29:48 -0800
moisture2 from private IP /all This is the first lounge Ive been in tbh. 2 free alcoholic drinks, nicee quiet ambience. Not hungry so not gonna eat anything, but the buffet seems nice. Thu, 15 Feb 2024 21:52:16 -0800
Andy from private IP /all In the AMEX lounge they have free drinks, but it's packed and there's often nowhere to sit. It doesn't feel like a premium experience, which is disappointing considering the amount of fees I pay on the AMEX with four or five employee cards. Thu, 15 Feb 2024 22:10:53 -0800
shithead from private IP /all Most lounges have unlimited drinks, alcoholic or not. Fri, 16 Feb 2024 05:15:14 -0800
shithead from private IP /all So fabioshit, are you going to take any advice, or is this just performative posting, saying "Look at me, I'm flying on an aIrPlAnE!!!!!!!!! I've made it!" Fri, 16 Feb 2024 05:38:22 -0800
Andy from private IP /all @shitheadTest I wouldn't consider the United Polaris Lounge balling-- it seemed like he was being sarcastic when he said that, but hey, maybe that is balling after spending months in the jungle in Ecuador or whatever πŸ˜‚ Fri, 16 Feb 2024 05:39:39 -0800
moisture2 from private IP /all In a coffee shop near downtown houston now. Weather is terrible Fri, 16 Feb 2024 05:41:58 -0800
Andy from private IP /all @moisture2Test Are you taking questions? Why did you come back from πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡¨? Fri, 16 Feb 2024 05:44:15 -0800
moisture2 from private IP /all Visiting dad for 75th bday gala and taking investment banking exam in a couple weeks. Then flying back Fri, 16 Feb 2024 05:50:12 -0800
Wily from private IP /all Weirdest lounge I've been in is one in Yunnan, where there were live chickens that would periodically be killed and eaten. Also a huge patio for smoking, which I haven't really seen in an airport before. . The Shanghai premier lounge actually has its own security gate, which I also haven't seen before elsehwereu. I'm excited to fly biz class trans Pacific in a month - paying up the ass for tickets but will enjoy the upper deck bar on an A380. Fri, 16 Feb 2024 05:58:52 -0800
Andy from private IP /all @WilyTest Now that is balling. One time I flew economy to Hong Kong (in the bitch seat, no less) because my then-boss wouldn't pay for a business class ticket, and that was the most god-awful flight of my life. 13 hours of suffering. I told the client and the boss I am never flying trans-Pacific economy for any client ever again. There's no easy solution due to business class ticket prices, so now airfare is an element of whether a case settles...lol. Fri, 16 Feb 2024 10:23:55 -0800
moisture2 from private IP /all Walked around downtown, now at the aquarium Fri, 16 Feb 2024 11:11:18 -0800
moisture2 from private IP /all Wish they had a beerquarium like at duff gardens https://m.youtube.com/shorts/Lbp8A4L5UFk Fri, 16 Feb 2024 11:23:52 -0800
shithead from private IP /all This is some really scintillating travel writing. Fri, 16 Feb 2024 11:39:43 -0800
moisture2 from private IP /all Hard to make it interesting when you can't post pics! Fri, 16 Feb 2024 11:41:43 -0800
Andy from private IP /all @moisture2Test's travel writing is reciprocal to @FINDCJTest's poetry. Lol. I'm working on photo posting. You can post IG links for now as a temporary solution. Mon, 04 Mar 2024 10:49:53 -0800
