Poll: Per-user blocking feature - proposed solution, feedback requested
I plan to add a popup menu when hovering over usernames throughout the site,
with an option to one-click block any particular user. And I will add a
"deaders" box to the right side box where it indicates whether you have blocked
any users, and how many (not who, because you wouldn't want to see their handle
on every page on the site, which would defeat the purpose). Would also be
interesting from a technical perspective to enable per-group blocking-- that is,
a user might be fine for you when dealing with you or most other users, but
maybe someone in particular triggers them and those interactions are just bad
news. Example: @moisture2Test
and @shitheadTest don't get along, but at least their banter is
entertaining-- they are not at the level of @moisture2Test
and @zerosugarTest's negative feedback death spiral. So if you only
block those two users' interactions, and maybe not either user individually (or
perhaps only one of them), that would achieve the desired effect. Am I right?
Feedback requested.

Damn, it turns out that I didn't just coin the phrase I used. I wish I had--
"negative
feedback death spiral" is a freaking great turn of phrase and I'm going to use
it in my normal work (haha).

Note that I'm playing around with animation and tooltips-- check out the
animated gradients in the tags and topics. Don't worry, I'll eventually make it
so you can turn those off, even though I think they are cool.

lol i honestly don’t have a problem with that poster whose name i will no
longer mention because even mentioning him can trigger him. i seriously wish him
well in his lawsuit and whatever else he has going on. for some reason, he
decided he has it out for me and decided i would be his punching bag after bizzy
went away.
