I read a great op ed in an Indian newspaper that said the cultural revolution
equalized society in china and therefore opened up a much larger talent base
either educational and carreer opportunities, whilst India was still socially
behind due to caste system. Which I think is true. Many people think that money
ie investment can accomplish anything, but discount the vitality of the people.
The Chinese who grew up in 60s and 70s and early 80s are very amazing and
admirable characters. Not to generalize, but the best of them have simple
habits, work hard and know what work is.

I figure they are developmentally inferior due to bad nutrition, bad health, bad
education and bad mentality. I mean a bad ass goat or bull could theoretically

I remember the laowai who got trophies for helping the lockdowns, wow just wow.
I definitely plan to be in the running for laowai of the year in my county. I
have a shot since my competition is mostly Japanese salarybros.
