Crazy power outage and frozen web server on Wednesday now, finally fixed now.
That was a 10 out of 10 on difficulty. I'm very proud of the innovative
technique I used, which started with using X11 forwarding to log into my router
remotely via a SSH tunnel to my office workstation, and change the
configuration. That let me log in normally. I then rebooted the new web server
and law firm portal server, and it all works again. I was only able to fix all
this remotely because I am the greatest lawyer-programmer in the world.

This experience demonstrates the need for a "jump box" at an alternate location
that has privileged access to the main equipment. I was only able to accomplish
the restoration because my office workstation IPMI is accessible from my home
office, which I had forgotten about. That access let me power on my workstation
remotely and then use X11 forwarding through the SSH tunnel to access my router,
as if I were physically in the office. Lifesaver considering that I cannot fly
back to work on this.
