He's even luckier than I thought, as the shooter was 120-150 yards away and had
a centerfire rifle, not a .22 as I thought. The New York Times has a photo of a
bullet whizzing by his head. Hard to believe a guy can climb on a roof near a
presidential campaign rally with a rifle and then fire several shots.

Trump still did not call the family of the deceased. They would not take a call
from Biden according to Twitter. If true, that is so sad Trump still did not
call, but was able to come to Milwaukee today. He showed the same insensitivity
to Ashli Babbit, not mentioning her until he saw he could use it to his
advantage politically. Schumer gave condolences about Babbitt first.
With that being said, Biden is a joke too. He just shared some Act Blue post
about threats to democracy. Trump will never be a monarchist or even a theocrat.
He is basically a New York social liberal. Biden knows this well, but continues
to spread fear. I think the big problem in America is that both parties are
social liberals and fiscal conservatives. We don’t believe healthcare is a
right, but go crazy about pronouns. Republicans will ignore all the craziness
from far left as long as Bezos gets a tax cut. We have no variety.

It's a bit fishy if you ask me. Like, how can you carry in a rifle into a rally
like that, swarming with secret service, and can climb a tall building
unimpeded. In broad daylight. This is some skinny teenager not a ninja. I would
think that When setting up a perimeter these are the basic places you secure -
any high buildings with a straight line shot at the podium. I dunno. Trump wins
tho.

It shows extremely poor communication as well. Folks were warning law
enforcement about this guy, and then he climbed the roof at least a minute
before the shooting. Why did they not take Trump off the stage when they saw
the guy going prone on the nearby roof? I can't understand how a gunman can
climb onto a roof carrying an AR-15 and get a couple of shots off at a
presidential rally. If the gunman had gone for the body shot like 99% of
shooters would have done in that scenario, Trump would be dead right now-- he's
the luckiest man alive.
