Andy from private IP /all I don't think I would want to live in Japan. It's going well here, and my professional license is tied to California, so that pretty much dictates where we will be. Tue, 05 Nov 2024 12:15:35 -0800
Andy from private IP /all I read the article. Like many expatriates, it seems like they are seeking affirmation that they made the right choice. I don't think anyone would agree that living in a random abandoned house in that part of Japan is an improvement over almost any major urban area of the U.S., unless you're from Detroit, I guess. I have to factor in my drastic decrease in earnings if I move anywhere out of my primary area. The economics do not make sense unless I'm in the Bay Area or L.A. Tue, 05 Nov 2024 14:00:32 -0800
