China's EV cars would kill the American EV industry if they were free of tariffs. Tesla would suffer. Even the CEO of Ford drives a chinese EV, he loves it too.
No wonder Elon Musk is allied w/ Trump.

Trump will tariff the hell out of the Chinese, to the point that there is no future for Chinese-made EVs here.

if i ever wanted an EV, it'll be what the CEO of Ford drives, he says he likes it.  But i'm never buying a car again, my plan is to ride my little Yamaha until
the day i die.  Today i rode around town in the 50F weather w/ just a t-shirt & shorts & no helmet, i get a lot of people gawking at me.

For sure. China EVs are really, really good. Many people would buy one in EU and USA. It would be game over for Tesla.

I would immediately buy the Denza D9 if it was available. But it will never be available because it would put many companies out of business.
