Sat, 23 Nov 2024 11:18:43 -0800 marlon from private IP, post #18163943 /all visited Frankenmuth for company Christmas party https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frankenmuth,_Michigan fifty mile ride up there but it was worth it, never been there before. took so many pics. but i spent the night trying to sleep in a restroom stall in the nearby visitor center, it was warm & safe but laying on the floor was hell. it was drizzling & too cold & dark to ride 50 miles home, & everything closed by 11pm except the two bars, & i don't like bars. tried to sleep on a bench near my bike but it got cold, like the 30s. but it was a very nice visitor center, illuminated display cases full of jars of honey & olive oil. i kept comparing the place to Detroit. never saw a cop while i walked around the town. There was like this dog bowl happening when I was there. Sadly, the air balloon show was canceled because of weather. I also went to their military museum and the Christmas store.
