The greatest book on stalking of all time
I bought this for an upcoming case that may be appearing on here. This book is
a page-turner, no joke. Did you know that the most-stalked category of people
on Earth is female TV actresses who portray attractive, single, professional
women who show emotional vulnerability? Followed by lady TV news anchors? This
is crazy to me. But it makes sense.

Reply #12725417 I am not sure what leads somebody
to stalk, but it's likely them imagining a connection that just is not there
and/or being too cowardly to approach the person in a healthy way. When I in my
late teens, I used to go to the YMCA to use their workout room. There was an odd
man there of about 70 who would come by me and make small talk. Oftentimes
telling me how to use the machines to put my "ass" further down. One day, I was
in the library of my university and he was there. I was at a drug store and he
was there. He was popping up in unexpected places. I ignored him. When he tried
to talk to me at the Y later, I ignored him. Eventually, all this stopped. I
later told my mother and she also found it suspicious. However, in since he
wasn't really saying anything or making threats, what can you really do? He can
just say it's a coincidence.
Now, if you want to know about stalking gone bad that went beyond just
following, there was this crazy guy in my neighborhood, Kevin. His wife was an
international flight attendant so he had time to blow. I believe he was on
disability despite having attended both med and law school. Anyway, Kevin became
interested in this lady named Brenda. Brenda was this artist who lived alone.
She was around his age. He had some other legal problems in the past related to
making threats to the daughter of a police officer after the little girl and her
friend ridiculed him for peeing in public. At the time, the general public
including Brenda did not know about these other issues. She may have casually
talked to him while they were dog walking. He always walked a small white dog
who I believe was a Pomeranian to get the attention of women. One day, he
decided to go through Brenda's garbages outside. It was insane. Then, when she
got home one day, he had broken in her house and was waiting for her on her
sofa. He didn't attack her or try anything or steal anything, but how scary. Not
sure what happened after that as it was a while ago. This was mostly a bored
sick man who imagined a connection.
My uncle (my mom's youngest bro who is still older than her) had this other
friend. Italian guy who was a gambler, but a bad one. He had an amazing job and
back in the early 00s made well around 200k, but would spend his entire salary
on scratch offs, sports bets, and other stuff. His name was Rick. Rick wasn't
somebody my uncle frequently hung out with and keep in mind, my uncle was mostly
living out of state at this point. However, Rick came around once to an event.
Conned us into renting him an apartment. We didn't know about his financial
troubles. We just knew he had a good job and was mature, one year older than my
uncle. Single guy with no wife or kids. The man talked about an ex he broke up
with ten years ago obsessively. He then became interested in my mother. He
wouldn't stop. My cousin and uncle had to go by him and even tell him my mom
didn't like him like that. My mom just was not interested in him especially
after she saw how much of a psycho gambler he was, so he stopped paying rent and
basically became a squatter. He started to invite prostitutes at all hours of
the night and all these shady characters were coming around our building. Then,
he started accusing us of stealing his remote control. Making all these paranoid
threats. He finally got out. We had not heard from him in years. Then, one day
my father told me this guy Rick has a Facebook and he is stalking some girl
named Debbie. Debbie posted an update on her Facebook that her and Rick have
nothing going on, but Rick won't stop talking about her. For months the past
year, he kept putting the craziest status updates about Debbie. Begging her to
call him, saying they were meant for each other. His close friends told him to
stop. When Debbie wouldn't respond and had blocked him, his posts became more
paranoid. He started to claim Debbie broke into his house and put spy cameras.
He started to accuse Debbie of messing with his younger brother who is married.
Seems he is schizophrenic now, possibly from years of cocaine abuse... Mental
illness is another factor in stalking. I guess Debbie exposes a vulnerable side
and posts quite frequently, putting so many pictures of herself on Facebook.
Still no excuse for what he did.

Reply #11532072 I have another scary, but
hilarious in hindsight story of stalking. I have this ex who I stayed friends
with. I realized early on him and I were better at friends. My car was totaled
in early 2023. This guy had two cars. A crappy Nissan Altima he used for errands
and a new car. He let me use his Altima as I searched for another car. He
eventually gave it to me. All the same, this guy just didn’t want to accept we
were broken up and I shouldn’t have accepted the car, but I needed a car fast
at the time and he was the one who offered it immediately.
Anyway, there was this guy from Italy visiting me. The Italian guy and I went to
the movies in Niles, Illinois at the cinema in Golf Mill mall. Then before we
went back to my house, I stopped at Walgreen. Probably went to get my vitamins.
I noticed the ex’s red car there in the parking lot of Walgreens. I freaked
and got into the car and started going as fast as I could to escape, but he was
behind me. He kept calling my cellphone, but I didn’t answer. He wouldn’t
stop calling. The Italian guy freaked and asked why did I pass up my home. I
didn’t want to tell him I was driving an ex’s car and the ex was chasing me,
so I told him there is this scary stalker guy in the neighborhood and I saw him
in front of my house and am scared he will approach me. I didn’t want these
two guys to run into each other for the scene my ex would make. The Italian guy
wasn’t fluent in English and the ex doesn’t know Italian, but still. All the
same, I took some turns and eventually lost my ex and drove back to Niles to
Kings Spa that is open 24/7. I told the Italian dude we should stay here a few
hours until that guy gets tired and leaves my house. I went to the women’s
changing room in Kings Spa and finally took my ex’s call. I also saw he sent
me a video on messenger driving past my house. He started screaming accusing me
of letting a guy drive his car and telling me he would report his car stolen. I
told him he is the one who offered me the car. I called my mom and she told me
he was out in front of the house. She told me to just come home and come through
the back. I couldn’t trust it though. I stayed with the Italian guy at Kings
Spa until early morning.
About a week later, I went to dinner with my parents and him. When we got back,
I seen my ex was out in front of my house waiting again. I had to get dropped
off with the Italian guy in the alley so we could walk in. I had to tell him the
excuse of a stalker again, not admitting the stalker was an ex. We made it
safely in the house without confrontation with my ex. Wow did these incidents
get my blood pressure up. I could have probably gotten a restraining order on my
ex, but didn’t as he is otherwise a decent guy who just was butt hurt. The
Italian guy is a jerk and psycho anyway. My ex is a way better person than him.
I still could have been hurt though when he was chasing me in the car. It was
like the Bronco chase.

Reply #18276540 The scary thing is at this point,
my ex and I were broken up since 2021. It’s not like we were broken up last
week. Even if I was with a guy, he didn’t know if it was a bf. Then, he lied
when he said I left a guy drive his car. I was driving the entire time so maybe
he really didn’t see us.

Reply #12462851 Believe it or not, not all
stalking is romantic. My neighbor, Doug is a big guy. About 450 pounds with
white eyelashes and strawberry hair. He looks quite sinister. He had a child out
of wedlock with some girl he met at a bar. Sort of a fling. The girl seemed
crazy and I guess was on drugs, so her father who is a cop somehow took custody
of the child. Then, he tried to get Doug out of the picture. He started circling
our block nonstop trying to spy on Doug. Someway somehow, he found some of
Doug's high school records and some allegations some girls made in high school
against Doug. He went super deep and even I could not find all this stuff on
Doug. I was curious as to why Doug was having all these legal problems. The cop
made it so Doug only had supervised visitations at a visitation center. Now Doug
doesn't even have that because of all the investigating the cop did. The
hilarious thing is Doug is a dork. He is quite harmless. He used to work at
Circuit City and wrote a ten page resignation back in the day.

Reply #13173211 I almost hate to also post this
lady because she is so disturbed, but Leonardo DiCaprio had a stalker from
Chicago. She somehow found out his office and home address and threatened him.
At one point, she claimed he was trolling her online though. So crazy. She wrote
some scary rants online. Just insane she took a plane out to Los Angeles to
confront him.
