 Crazy.  What about criminally negligent homicide?  Isn't that the same thing as involuntary manslaughter?  If it
requires criminal negligence, then I predict he gets off because it was an accident without subjective criminal intent.  He may still be civilly liable to the
victim's heirs for ordinary negligence, but I see this as different from a criminally negligent act, like shooting into the air and inadvertently hitting
someone.
