to have more slavic than say greeks who are nextdoor. must be from your mom's
side. what is she if you don't mind me asking? isn't she a heritage american
from michigan? i imagine many michiganers must have germanic roots.

blacks sometimes. they are not too dark but my mom's mom had color, her sister
was the real deal, straight out of a history book, i remember meeting her the
last time in 1994. But we visited her house a few times when i was little, all
those guys were dark, i felt so embarrassed w/ my blond afro & casper the ghost
look. they kept a pic of me in their living room, i felt like dying. god i
wish i could relive it all, but feel good about it, maybe be on some nice drug,
instead of being awkward

was from North Carolina. What are your haplogroups? If your father is from
Macedonia, you and I may share the same paternal haplogroup which is E-V13
(Balkan origin). My father’s family are from an Arbereshe town near Foggia.
Another possibility is that you have R1a (Eastern European). J2 is more common
in Greece, Turkey, and various regions of Italy. However, you could possibly
have J2 as well.
