I hosted a CLE workshop last night that went reasonably well. My key takeaway
is that lawyers are incompetent with technology.
I put a lot of effort into this event, as you can see from the attached program:

To my surprise, nobody read the materials in advance, and the first 20 minutes
were wasted trying to get everyone to log into my web server. What a freaking
joke. I did a test run of the event program with my assistants, but I guess I
shouldn't be surprised that they are both geniuses and not reflective of
lawyers.
I learned a lot from presenting this CLE. On the plus side, it was the debut of
the Trial Laboratory, and the venue was perfect for this. Everyone loved it.
