I purchased a pair of Made in USA light military boots and they are the greatest
thing ever
I should have done this years ago, no joke. The intention was to get boots that
I can run in on the gun range, and also comfortably shift the manual
transmission in my car. These are Made in USA by a boot company, and they are
truly wonderful.

Lowa light/medium duty hiking boots, but lighter duty than my huge JK fireproof
firefighter boots. It's a nice compromise, and I have several options depending
on what I'm going to be doing outdoors. For most tasks, the military boots are
going to be the best option.

I've ever seen or worn. Made in USA, fire-rated sole, adhesives, and thread,
and $600/pair. But they are ultra heavy duty and not usable in 90% of normal
settings. Also difficult to put on and take off. Perfect for outdoor-centric
work or hobbies, but too much of a production to wear most of the time. I have
