Azns are a huge disappointment to their families
https://www.businessinsider.com/couple-left-nyc-tiny-house-farm-wont-do-it-again-2025-2
They left NYC to live in a tiny house on a farm in Oregon. To their surprise,
life didn't get any slower.
Soo Jae Lee and Jeffrey Castro started following tiny-house videos on YouTube in
2015.

Reply #19966668 I wouldn’t want to live like
this couple. That tiny house looks uncomfortable. I think all the van life
weirdo bloggers are odd too and they will come to regret their choices. The
murder of Gabby Petito was a stain on their community.
There was a really crazy guy this past summer who posted on 4chan a thread
claiming he was Appalachian and now living in California and homeless by
choice. He then posted a link to his Youtube account which was so crazy where he
is going on all these spirited rants about how homeowners are idiots and never
truly own the home because of property taxes. He may have a point there, but his
lifestyle was disgusting.

Reply #11247004 I wish I could find this guy’s
youtube account again because it was funny af. Even the thread he posted to
4chan was hilarious as he was immediately doxed in it and threatened to be
reported for not paying child support.

Reply #18365786 Also is she Chinese and is he
Filipino??? I’m judging by his Spanish surname. My neighbor for many years who
sadly died was Filipino. He told me he had Chinese origins though as his father
was Chinese in the Philippines, but disowned him as he wasn’t pure Chinese.
His father’s family only wanted his father to be with a pure Chinese woman not
his mixed Filipina mother. The Philippines and Cambodia seem to have large
Chinese diasporas.

Reply #15871873 Going off the grid is hard. Farm
work is hard. Raising livestock is hard. You end up having pig shit in your
living room. But you get what you signed up for. If I were to go off the grid. I
would be an English teacher in cambodia or something. Can afford decent lodging
and good food for easy work. And the end result is the same. You are totally off
grid.
