Hi
a question, trying to follow how this was done before, do the three attached go
together? Are bank deposits the same as Lease Income? These don't agree, what
am i missing?

I would follow the Rental tie out sheet not the ban statement, bank statement
provided for ending bank balance and backup.

Yeah I have started in Fairwood first i see it is cash basis, so it follows the
bank deposits are the same as Lease Income? Dec 23 bank attached, where does
the $1,300.00 for Lease Income come from? Should it be $1,220?

could have said the Rental tie out sheet is complete. Now i just used the
figures in the Rental tie out sheet to prepare the return. But my point stands,
nothing makes sense, as i eye-balled the figures, tried to trace to the bank
stmts, did he just make it all up?

seems like a directive to go with the client's figures and not question them.
Lawyers at least get to say "client states xyz" and rely on it as truth, because
why shouldn't we believe our clients. Accountants...not sure they can get away
with that.
