the jokes as I only watched briefly to see the best actor award given, but I’m
sure those shoes are always filled with political undertones. People just carry
around vendettas and don’t realize when they are more intolerant than the
forces they are against. Too much nudity at the award shows too. I preferred
more formal attire as in the past. Vivien Leigh’s acceptance speech was cool
and elegant.

Michelle Yeoh’s speech was pretty good. I liked how she talked about her mom
and it was sort of a nice speech for women in particular with her “past your
prime” comment.
