How much gets written to storage from such a session?

We only filmed an hour and it was 1.5 terabytes because I did 60 fps at 4K resolution. I have about 80 TB in my
desktop RAID, so I will need to figure out a long-term storage solution.

P.S. I had two cameras going. First time I've done that, since I got my new RED KOMODO-X and wanted to try it out.

If you just need cheap bulk storage, head down the 101 to a place called Unix Surplus. That joint often has retired
but decently contemporary servers. I picked up a SuperMicro chassis with 24 drive slots for something like 1.5 kibibucks, with a good non-hardware-raid disk
controller. If you're not using ZFS you're just committing slow motion data suicide.

Typically the machines there are simply EOLed as companies upgrade. Or sometimes you get tranches of hardware from when a startup implodes.
