Poll: would you like to see unread posts in bold, or new post notifications-- or is the /new section adequate?
/new shows new posts since your last session started. However, the log file only goes back a certain amount of days, so it's not going to show all new posts
since your last actual session if your session was more than about 7 days ago. I thought of a way to handle this programmatically for an arbitrary amount of
time, and it's possible. It just will require some work on the back-end. Would folks prefer to see new posts in bold on the main page and then have them
un-bolded when you read them, or would that be annoying? Or I could let you "star" or "follow" threads that you want to see in your feed, and do new post
notifications posts for threads you have followed. Let me know what you want to see.

I wouldn't find new posts in bold annoying. However, it wouldn't drastically improve my experience. I find notifications to be incredibly annoying usually so I
wouldn't utilize those normally, but I would appreciate notifications for any post that I "follow" if you choose to add that function.

I was today years old when I noticed /new. It probably would not have taken this long to start noticing when some Poasts started showing up as bold.
In my view, not a killer feature and should not be prioritized.
