I've noticed a disturbing new trend: A.I. tools and bots are now the most frequent visitors to my websites
I guess people don't directly browse websites as much anymore. Looking through the log files, it's easy to see who is a real person and who is a bot just by
seeing their requests. The bots and A.I. tools spider the site, requesting virtually every file. Normal users browse around, read the pages, and then click on
more pages. But the trend is downward for real people and upward for bots. It's sad because my websites are all mostly ad-free and there is solid gold in them
for people to discover. I'm not sure what to do about that.
