listened to 2 or 3 hours of Prince Harry's Spare

Listening to Prince Harry's audiobook. I am still finishing it. Overall, I feel he has been in therapy for a while and much of this book is him reflecting on
his life in a way clearly guided by a therapist. While therapy can be beneficial, it can also lead you to vilify others and not always see grey area. It can
seem obnoxious for a prince to complain about his life. I get he suffered with his mom dying when he was so so young and not trying to take that away from him.
However, aside from the tragedy that happened to Diana, he has had a better life than most.

I think it's unnecessary for him to constantly throw his father and brother under the bus. He outed his dad as splashing himself with Dior Sauvage which is
embarrassing. His father also carries around a childhood teddy bear. Meanwhile, he makes William seem like a bully who didn't want to socialize with him once
they went to the same school.

Harry is also a follower and there is nothing admirable about that. Its a good thing he is a spare and not heir because he is not fit to be king. He lacks
leadership skills. He merely adopts the identity of who he is hanging out with. When he was sent to some work camp in Australia after his male nanny and fellow
redhead Mark Dyer aka Marko caught him doing drugs after being tipped off by a journalist, he tried to emulate the Australian cowboys and copied their accent,
even calling himself Spike. Then, he wanted to emulate whites in former Rhodesia/Zimbabwe when he was dating Chelsy Davy. He would walk around barefoot and want
to make BBQ. Even some of his workers have said he is a follower and after listening to Spare, I agree with them 100 percent. Now, he is following Markle.

I do however think it's cool he has taken his father's interest in architecture. Thats one of the only admirable things about Harry is he does seem to have an
eye for architecture, art, and nature. Just don't like the way he attacked Graceland, but oh well he is an English guy who doesn't get the USA and Americana.
Honestly, for me Charles seems cooler than both of his sons. He seems more intellectual and like a genuinely sensitive person. I also like that he is not
superficial when it comes to women. I actually think the teddy bear thing is so cool too.

Spare is an ok read if you are working, but Harry's voice is sort of loud and its hard to really work listening to him and if you lower it, his husky voice can
be hard to understand. Now, I cannot stand that crazy Gypsy Rose, but her soft voice was pleasant while working. Spare is also not my favorite royal book. My
favorite was King Edward VIII an American life by Ted Powell.

LOVE this book. Don't pay attention to the rating. https://www.amazon.com/King-Edward-VIII-American-Life/dp/0198795327

There were just so many good stories in it like when his former girlfriend (they called them mistresses) murdered her Egyptian lover. Some great scenery too
like Edward visiting American ranches and of course the gardens back in England.

Wish there was an audio version of this Ted Powell book.

This book has reinforced my belief that if God came down from heaven and said I can have any man as my husband, Charles would be number 1. I would select him
over both of his sons. Old and all. He just has something the sons don’t have and I can’t quite put my finger on it. I’m not just talking about power. He
is quirky. At the same time, he is noble. I love that his coronation day is my birthday too. I love that he is not superficial. He could have had Diana who was
14 years younger than him and from a very wealthy distinguished family. Althorp is just beautiful. He could have had some bombshells. I bet even Posh Spice
would have dropped David Beckham to be with him in a second. I know I would have! Instead he chose Camilla out of nostalgia perhaps. He chose the person who he
felt understood him the most. The only woman who didn’t care about his status.

My second choice would be Macron because I also like that he isn’t superficial, but he is a distant second. The third is somebody whose name I would never
give publicity to because he is nuts. Not rich and not really famous. More infamous in niche circles.

I’ve always found him handsome too, even when he was young with a bigger nose. I love when he was in Australia back in the day the way he just kissed a girl
in the crowd then wiped off her lipstick as he walked away.

I also don’t like old guys who seek out young women like the late Berlusconi. Although I respect him as a politician, he was a pig to women and came across as
easy and attainable.

Charles is unattainable and I like that. I like the thought of knowing that he is a man who goes with a woman only if he really likes her and not superficial
reasons.

Harry is easy too and I don’t like that. Harry tries to emulate Edward VIII and wants to pretend Megah is Wallis, but he will never be him. Edward VIII had a
rare charm and IMHO was more handsome than Harry. If anything, Charles’ style reminds me more of Edward VIII. The way he defied so many norms to be with
Camilla as Edward did to be with Wallis Simpson. The difference is Charles came out a winner while Edward did not. William is more of a normie. I got excited
and started to see him as sexier when there were rumors of him and Rose Hanbury. It’s not that I don’t like Kate, but there was something extremely
beautiful and sultry about Rose Hanbury. Many thought Rose had a horse face, but I just see something in her.
