I bought some almond powders online locally and they are trash. Basically mystery powder with almond extract. To be fair it's more of a south China drink. I can drink that thing for days. We went to one Michelin restaurant in loire valley it was good and we were going to eat a michelin star restaurant again but in the end we didnt want to. Enough of the richness of everything. I thought Italy had much better food. For my taste anyway. Yea France has better pastries but I would be a diabetic if I ate that stuff every day. Baguettes were of course fabulous but I can't eat baguette twice a day for a week. There was a lot of cheese variety in France but the cheese types were more my style in Italy. Also the yogurts etc. Hazelnut or pistachio yogurt. Come on.
