I'm currently determining whether, and how, to release the world's first 4K/60p deposition video of a confirmed killer. There is no protective order in the case, and I hold the copyright on this video that I personally filmed as the unofficial video from day two of his deposition. Seattle Times v. Rhinehart is the only case that is applicable, and it says that discovery evidence may be restricted from public distribution if there is a protective order. Should I publish this? I created a video player page where folks can watch it in-browser or pop out the window, but not download it, which is the intention moving forward.
