The wifely embargo on our news has been lifted after our three-month ultrasound and NIPT show all normal things, and now I can confirm that Thomas Andrew
Watters is expected in late January 2026.  Huzzah!

He's going to be named Thomas Andrew Watters in honor of my dad and myself.  My dad fully deserves this honor.

years ago my older cousin had a child with a chinese cambodian man who sadly died in a work related accident. she named her son xian which i found odd as i
thought xian was a female's name in china. she gave him middle name vincenzo which was also odd as we have nobody in our family named vincenzo. one of our
uncles was named innocenzo. 

anyway, i think its fine to go with a classic name spelled in english although a foreign name can be fine too especially if it is tied to family.

@marlonTest My nickname in the fraternity was PermaVirg, as in, Permanent Virgin.
 When I joined in early 2000 it was based on my then-rigid personality, but in late 2000 and most of 2001 I had a girlfriend who refused to have premarital sex,
so the name really stuck and everyone thought it was hilarious.  Looking back, I just laugh.
