Web server maintenance notification

Tonight around 6 p.m., I'll be rebooting the web server to install some software updates.  Should be down for at most five minutes.  The issue is that my backup
equipment is not running right now, so everything in my extensive portfolio of websites will be inaccessible for a few minutes.  Hopefully it's just five
minutes...lol.

Ah webservers. Back in the year [REDACTED] when md5 wasn't broken yet, I added support for md5-hashed passwords to my then-company's Apache install. I think it
was by hacking on, like, mod_auth_something_or_other.  Looking back on it, kind of quaint. It was just in-house.  Never pushed the patch out to the community.
