I never could understand the bit about the fish and the beans. Maybe that's a reference to some feature of the negro's experience. To fry fish in a kitchen does
not seem unreasonable. Beans on a grill, though?  Is that an allegory?

CHiPs had the best theme music, and it's not even close. Even now, if I ever see a pig on a motorbike then I kinda chant the riff to myself.
