I rage-quit Facebook and realized there is no equivalent platform.  What now?

Let's face it-- there's nowhere to hang out online anymore.  People also don't use websites the same way they used to.  LinkedIn is freaking worthless with all
the A.I. slop and self-promoting content.  X is full of political posts and lacks a community message board feature.  I just want to talk about interesting
stuff and there's nowhere to do that anymore except my own website or now this board.  What now?

JDU is about it. Meatspace also credited. Paid platforms etc are also good according to your interest.

I tried ISCA BBS, but they don't even have a curses-based way to navigate.  I'm not going to re-learn a bunch of console commands just for one BBS.  So I guess
the new JDU is all I have right now.  It browses nicely in a text-based browser, so I feel like I've done my part.

I think it's like smoking. I've rage quit Facebook probably half a dozen times, and always wandered back when I wanted to promote music projects. Last time it
finally stuck. I'm not quite sure why, but I don't miss it anymore. I'd rather have a few less people at the show than swim in the sewer anymore.
