Still here.  I've been swamped lately, trying to run my own office and keep up on my work. Any time a death tax return is due I tend to shift all of my focus
onto getting out out the door. 

In regard to my two topics, I've decided that one topic is best suited for a short write up in the state bar journal.  I'm going to attend the next state bar
practice area section meeting (for the subject area), and see if anyone has resolved this one particular issue yet.  If not, Im going to try to put my solution
into writing in a white paper first  and eventually submit it for publication to the state bar journal. 

Your co-author offer was very generous and I may take you up on it - I just have to much going on right now to get serious about a full-length article.  

I perused your various writings and came away very impressed.

That seems like a good plan. Although in addition to your state bar idea you might want to reach out to a professor in the area either who taught you or at the
local law school. Ask him if this issue has been solved and if you are thinking about it correctly. Most profs would probably be happy to do that.

@TribalBarConnectionTest You read my mind. This is fundamentally a
remedies issue, and I plan on reaching out to the professor from law school who taught remedies (though I never took the class).

I am heavily involved in the bar section examining this issue,  which involves at least one prof from the local law schools and no one has solved it yet.  So
I'm confident that it's still deemed to be a conundrum.
