"The Matrix" is fucking awful. You risk being sucked into a singularity of self-importance watching that awful pile of wank, and there's nary a trace of humor
anywhere to leaven the heaviness. Even hearing about that dreariness makes me want to snap both the Wachowskis' bras.

hmmm idk if I have a favorite film. I mostly like horror because usually there is a mystery to solve and even crappy B or C list horror films can be good. I
guess a non horror I really enjoyed that I love to watch in the winter for the Christmas Eve themes is 2046 by Wong Kar Wai.

I'm aware that Eat Pray Love exists in Are Kulchur, but have never consumed the book or movie. Not my thing. It might shock you to hear this after all of our
years of Poasting together, but I'm kind of judgmental and pretentious about this kind of thing.
Also, I'm not drawn by Julia Roberts. She looks like the has like 120 teeth, and I'm not really into Anglo chicks.

Man I listen to all these interviews with the Vietnam vets and what a travesty it was for them to be treated like shit after they came back all PTSDd. Like one
day they are scraping their buddy off some rice paddy and the next day they are getting eggs thrown at them by some hippies in Oakland or new york, being called
baby killers. That is a case of American eating its own. And fucked part was, most of these dudes were drafted. Not like they chose to go. I think with the Iraq
and Afghanistan bros America seems to have learned its lesson. But those vietnam era guys really paid for it. And for what almost everyone agrees was a
worthless meaningless war.
