I believe there is no place in a civilized society for the state to be taking lives and for judges and juries to play God. With that being said, I acknowledge there are absolutely heinous crimes, but I think the prison systems in America are bad enough that we do not have to have state sanctioned or even federally sanctioned murder. Keep in mind, our justice system is not equal. Not everybody can afford or have access to the best representation. Hence, its safer to not have the death penalty and I think the risk of an innocent man being executed is a greater evil than one bad person going free or living our the rest of their life in prison. As for Pam, well she is ok. I think that hair is too light though. I wonder how she would look with a different hair style and less bleach. I even have a hard time believing life sentences are necessary in many cases. I believe in redemption.
