some office relationships can get out of hand. oftentimes, they are one sided. thankfully, they rarely get too out of hand.

the only reason they rarely go too far is that there are usually rules in the office setting to prevent office spouses from getting too obsessed. likewise, a
spouse or significant other cannot really sabotage a relationship you have with a coworker.
honestly, after my ex this lebanese guy, i made the mistake in thinking i could relive my past with a dude from a similar background. i got involved with a
syrian man. he was creepily jealous of this old ass attorney who worked with me who wore a wig. this dude was way older than my father and just because he was a
character who wore a bad wig and i talked about him frequently laughing at all his antics, the syrian guy got jealous. it was at that point, i knew i could
never be happy with that relationship as i like space. wig man was not innocent though. he may have been into meth because he kept nagging me to buy him sudafed
and he had already got past his limit at the pharmacy. dude called me at all hours. idk why i gave him my number. he was just a coworker in a wig, but i found
him funny. he was awesome. his name was alex. dude originally from st. louis and had lived in ohio.

aside from alex, i never really had a bond with a coworker. i did start to chat with and went on a few lunch breaks with this crazy california attorney who used
to work in the marijuana fields. he was 12 years older than me and dressed like a cowboy/hippie. later, i backed off when i discovered he had moved to illinois
to live with a single mother closer to his age who worked for google. we were supposed to meet at this hotel after work and he stood me up. then another
coworker told me the dude's gf picked him up after i left the office. its best to not get involved with coworkers. cali attorney and google woman eventually
broke up and he reached out a few times, but i was already on the next chapter by then. he is back in california i think.

Everything's fine until the breakup, then it just gets awkward. I've only done it once, and it wasn't worth it.

This is pure poetry right there. You are a gem. This made me laugh. Man in a wig bumming sudafed at the law office. Hahaha

@whiteguyinchinaTest hahah happy you liked it. if you really want to
laugh, we also had a coworker who was a transwoman that wore dresses and boots to work. before that, she/he was a man who was married to a big law woman who
emasculated him. him and his ex wife had a daughter together and he constantly bragged about his ex wife and the black women would get angry at him flexing his
ex wife. alex tried asking the trans for sudafed, but she responded, "honey if the pharmacist won't give it to you then you don't need it."

i also don't blame the black women for getting annoyed at this nutter bragging about how successful his ex wife was! he also made it seem like his ex shouldn't
have divorced him for becoming a woman.

i also got wig sudafed a few times. the black girls and trans refused. i should have been smart like them because after i did it twice, he kept bothering me.
when he returned to st. louis to visit family, he wanted me to mail him sudafed. the dude once brought a whole 12 pack of diet coke to work. i thought he bought
them for the whole office, but he drank the entire 12 pack in one sitting. everyday he did sudafed, diet coke, and two snickers bars. then he jogged instead of
eating lunch. in addition to a wig, he penciled in his grey brows to look younger and he sincerely believed he may have a chance with me at his age and as
fucked up beyond repair as he was. dude was also separated and not yet divorced iirc. he used to be an attorney with like scottstrade or something.

My thing is drinking two liter bottles of Diet Dr. Pepper. The office fridge is full of them and I deplete them rapidly most days.

Haha! Yeah he was sort of a stone cold redneck and St. Louis is sort of more southern vibes vs. midwestern. As for Alabama, well that would be more mountain dew
and some jerky as a snack. I know people think of West Virginia when they think of Mountain Dew, but they think it heavily in Alabama too. That was like all my
aunt’s husband drank and as a child. I had gotten semi addicted to Mountain Dew. I think it’s disgusting now. My current favorite soft drinks are cherry
coke zero, diet dr. pepper or dr. pepper zero, and Pepsi zero.
Oh actually if you really want to laugh about Alabama, my aunt’s mother in law doesn’t drink coffee in the morning. She drinks a coke classic! That’s just
crazy. An old woman drinking a coke classic every morning. I love soda, but it doesn’t replace coffee in the morning although around 11 am, I may have a
small snack and a coke to wake up.

I would also be interested to know what’s left of French culture in St. Louis. I know their flag has that French symbol (Fleur-de-lis) and clearly the name of
the city. This old guy with the wig was Catholic, if I recall correctly he listened to some religious radio. He may have had some French origins. St. Louis has
those Southern Illinois vibes I guess and I think there may actually still be some places where a dialect is spoken called paw paw. I remember reading about it
in the past. What a crazy cat anyway.

Yea the southerners love their soda. Interestingly so do the Utahns but they have to use caffeine free sodas such as Sprite or Tab. Soda is so yummy yet so
awful.
