Talk me out of a HPE Cray workstation

I got my current workstation in 2021. It's a heavy duty portable supercomputer in a rack/tower form factor that is enclosed in a military case. I'm intending
to move this computer over to the Trial Laboratory and use it for video processing and livestreaming. That leaves me with an opportunity to build a
next-generation workstation for my office that is quieter, more powerful, and newer. To that end, I have a configuration done for a custom Supermicro-based
system that's just like my current system, but newer. The price is very high (i.e., the same as an entry-level luxury car), so I thought I would do my due
diligence and contact a leading manufacturer of high performance computers and supercomputers, HPE Cray, about their offerings. I believe they have an
entry-level HPE Cray that notches above my custom quote but below a rack-scale system. Some might say this is overkill; I don't think so. This would be like
having a Sun SPARCstation in the '90s-- it's perfect for advanced technical work such as research and development, simulation, A.I., and other things that
interest me. The price for these types of systems has come way down in the last 20 years, so I'm not doing anything crazy by spending the same or somewhat more
than the Supermicro custom quote that I already have. The only unusual thing I have to do is put 240V power in the outlet where this would go, since this is
normally a data center product. Talk me out of this crazy idea.

What sort of backup power are you thinking about for this thing?

I can easily get a 240V UPS and PDU. Needs to have sufficient runtime, though. Might need a battery pack add-on.

I have a call with HPE on Wednesday to chat about options. They currently recommend the ProLiant series, not the Cray, but I told them I would do a stretch
goal of the Cray if it's at all possible.

If u can deduct it as an equipment purchase and it zeroes out your income taxes then I would do it

If it's more than your profit than probably not
