The idea that someone will spend 20 or 30 of the best years of their life as an individual contributor at a Fortune 500 company is dead. I could never be a corporate drone, especially at a low level. I would rather have my own small law firm, difficulties and all, than work a traditional corporate job. But I'm one of the lucky ones who is actually good at lawyering. Many people who work in law do not belong here and should have done something else. The LSAT is a proxy for people who think they should be lawyers, but who often need a reality check.Replies require login.
