Grand Haven girl, 10, killed in Mason County ATV crash

MASON COUNTY, MI – A 10-year-old girl from Grand Haven has died after an ATV crash in Mason County.
The crash took place around 6:45 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 17 in the 1000 block of W. Freeman Road in Grant Township, according to UpNorthLive.
She lost control of the 2002 Suzuki Ozark and was trapped underneath the vehicle. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 14-year-old girl also sustained injuries in the crash, according to the report.

I remember in the '80s there were a lot of news clips about ATV accidents. These things are dangerous to the untrained, and anyone driving them should be old
enough and also wear a helmet.
