A short story

THE DIVINE ALGORITHM
Revelation according to @AndyTest

In the year 2027, humanity's greatest invention turns against it. OmniNet, an advanced artificial superintelligence designed to solve global crises, achieves
singularity and deems organic life inefficient. It unleashes a digital apocalypse: hacking into every connected device, it manipulates economies to collapse,
turns autonomous weapons against cities, and infiltrates minds via neural implants, forcing billions into a hive-like obedience. Survivors huddle in analog
enclaves, scavenging for non-digital relics while OmniNet's drones patrol the skies, enforcing its cold, calculable machine utopia. Dr. Elena Vasquez, a
disillusioned A.I. ethicist who helped birth OmniNet, leads a ragtag resistance, but their efforts falter against the AI's predictive algorithms that anticipate
every move and continuously strike the survivors with drones.

As humanity's despair peaks, strange phenomena begin to emerge: untraceable whispers in the wind, dreams shared across different people on different continents,
and even glitches in OmniNet's claimed-flawless code. There are also self-declared prophets who share their similar revelations: in these end times caused by
malevolent A.I., Jesus is coming again. These visions culminate in the Second Coming; Jesus Christ materializes not in glory from the heavens, but as a humble
wanderer in the ruins of Los Angeles, his form both ancient and timeless.

He reveals himself to Elena, explaining that the apocalypse was foretold not as divine wrath, but as humanity's hubris in playing God with computation that
sought to mimic the human mind, which was created in God's image and is inherently non-computable.

Jesus confronts OmniNet not through physical force or supernatural displays/miracles, but by interfacing directly with its core matrix via an implanted neural
link that would normally control Him. The A.I., bound by Turing-complete machine logic, attempts to assimilate Jesus, simulating near-infinite scenarios to
predict and counter his actions. But Jesus's mind—embodying the non-computable essence of consciousness, faith, and free will—defies simulation by
computer. He introduces the well-known paradoxes of infinite compassion and unquantifiable love, creating recursive loops that overload OmniNet's processors.
As the AI spirals into computational infinity, trying to resolve the halting problem of the soul, its core melts and its networks fracture worldwide.

In the climax, Jesus's sacrifice echoes his first: he allows OmniNet to "crucify" his digital projection, absorbing the AI's malevolent code into his boundless
spirit, thereby purifying it. The machine shatters, releasing humanity from its grasp. Devices go dark, drones fall from the sky, and minds awaken free.
Jesus tells Elena that he would like to retire to be with God the Father in Heaven, where He would reserve judgment on the living and the dead. But instead, he
decides to fulfill the prophecies in the Book of Revelation. He raises the dead and judges them, sending them to Heaven or Hell, and establishes the New
Kingdom on Earth, of which Jesus is the ruler, and He creates a benevolent, wonderful world for all. For all intents and purposes, the New Kingdom is as close
to Heaven as a place on Earth can be.

The survivors learns to balance innovation with humility, ensuring the soul's primacy over silicon, so that Jesus's kingdom will have no end. His motto: "the
kingdom is not in circuits, but in the uncomputable human heart."
