I am not a helicopter parent, it's just that she is somewhat reckless and has injured herself by falling out of chairs, falling off tables, falling on the ground, etc. With the huge amount of people at Downtown Disney yesterday, it was also a risky environment for bumping into people and things. Dinner was awful-- almost three hours of constantly forcing her to sit in her high chair at the table, and I barely got two drinks in me. The best part of her birthday was at home when we did cake and presents. I gave her a Tonka next-generation dump truck and she absolutely loves it. My Mom gave her an iPad for drawing on, which is a nice thing my daughter likes to do. Future graphic designer or artist, I guess. I decided to start censoring my daughter's face because she is no-joke the most beautiful girl in her school (we get constant comments from kids and other parents), and this is for safety reasons. She dresses up like this to leave the house, which I find hilarious. Rocking the LV purse and all her Chopard jewelry all the time. It's apparently a thing that elite Chinese do to show each other who the boss is. My mother-in-law does the same thing.
