It’s crazy to go out to eat now. Even diners are expensive. I make some more money than 2019, but that’s not saying too much as I wasn’t working full time
in 2019 and got licensed in November 2019. Seems I still lived better though! lol!

Actually yes, but it was just because of a fortunately timed "market adjustment" at work. If I was relying fully on annual raises, I'd be way behind inflation.
We get 2-3% a year regardless.

We are in the land of $9 beers and $17 glasses of wine. I went out and 2 burger deluxes along with 4 drinks (for 2 people) came out to $110 plus $9 tax and $20
tip! So $139 for burgers at a pub/tavern in NYC!
