POLL: WGIC mandatory. Should I carry a cane to China?

I injured my leg whilst skiing and use a cane to get around

I kind of don't need it now but I am torn between using it in China and at work or not and just showing off the knee brace.

For sure I am taking it on the plane for early boarding etc

But at work? Will it make me look weak or more dedicated to my duties since I came whilst handicapped?

No cane. Once people see a guy with a cane, they mentally put him in the disabled box and he never gets out of it.

This is exactly what my friend said

He said I should get a cast instead because that seems less permanent

Nah bro. You're just a few years older than me but Asians probably think you're a decade older at least because they can't tell white people ages (and generally
Asians lose hair slower ... ahem). If you bring the cane, you'll add like another 5-10 years to your perceived age, which will make you seem pretty close to
retired.
