US adults can expect to live just 63.9 years in full health
According to the latest data from the World Health Organization (WHO), a typical U.S. adult can expect to live just 63.9 years in full health. (4) If you retire
at 65, you’ve already crossed that threshold and enter your golden years more likely to see a hospital than a ski slope.
So given that life expectancy is 78.39, an American can expect to be chronically sick for 15 years before death.
Discuss.

Yea it's horrible
I mean most people retire 65-70 so it means they basically give up all their savings as into the health establishment post retirement
I mean what kind of life is that
Sad!

women live longer, i used to work in offices full of women, they
eat greens while men eat meat. even fat women are better off, i
think talking non-stop may have benefits, i've read studies where
women get a head buzz from talking, while the more reticent men
are slurping beer.
