We ended up firing her today due to her ridiculously poor performance and lack of safety awareness for our son. I already feel a lot better, even though this will mean more time supporting Tina in caring for our son until our previous nanny returns in a week or so. Thankfully, baby Tom is healthy and normal, and all is well. He is so much more calm than our daughter Jen was at two weeks old. Jen was screaming all the time. I don't know what to make of that, except that Jen was smaller when born and might have been struggling for that first month or two. Hard to say. Either way, we are very thankful and glad that baby Tom is here, and that his sister is handling the arrival well, also.
