The most incredible write-up of any film, ever: Eyes Wide Shut by Stanley Kubrick

I am without words because of how great this essay is.

I had to reach out to this guy because of recent social media rumors. Here is what I wrote:

Hi Nik, I am a casual cinema fan in California, and I wanted to reach out and share my reaction to your extraordinary essay on Eyes Wide Shut. This is one of
the greatest in-depth discussions of a film I have ever read. Your attention to detail is amazing, and the now-obvious links between all these different things
that I didn't even notice on a first viewing of EWS prove that absolutely nothing in a Kubrick film is an accident.

Question for you: after the Epstein files were released this year, there have been claims circulating on social media that Kubrick had an even more explicit cut
of the film that he screened for the studio and the actors, who allegedly later said that the film they were screened significantly differed from the theatrical
release. Purportedly, Kubrick's "final cut" has pedophilia rituals and other shocking content that could have been an indictment of Epstein-type activity
conducted by a similar cabal of world-controlling elites. As you are clearly one of the world's leading scholars on this film and a deep thinker, I would like
to ask whether you think any aspect of this could be true.

I saw EWS many years ago and it seemed like a complete film, which would not seem possible if any substantial amount of content had been cut against Kubrick's
wishes or vision. But I have no idea-- the daughter being led away by old men in the ending seems to support the idea that pedophilia was an important element
of the secret society shown in the film, even though (if I remember correctly) there were no other moments where pre-teen girls were at risk or exploited in the
film. What do you think?

Curious is it the fact that some girls were 16-17 that is the shocking part of eastern?

Epstein? The 16-17 year-olds are not the shocking part. The shocking part is that a cabal of world-controlling elites eats babies and drinks their blood as an
aphrodisiac, then dissolves their remains in acid. The eating babies part was said by Roseanne Barr years ago and no one believed her. The drinking blood part
was said by Jim Caviezel years ago and he was canceled by Hollywood. Crazy that these claims apparently turned out to be true. Separate issue: folks owe an
apology to Michael Jackson for accusing him of pedophilia when all he did was host disadvantaged and homeless kids at Neverland so they would have better lives
and not be trafficked. This is some Twilight Zone shit and I'm still in shock.

I went to a talk with Sydney pollak in college. I asked him about a particular scene in out of Africa where a group of African warriors jogs past Redford in a
mysterious scene. Mr pollak responded, well we thought it looked cool.

So dont discount that some symbolism that we layer attribute to Kubrick was just a vool shot overinterpreted.
