GENESEE COUNTY, MI – Those looking for a fish fry to partake in during the Lent season have several options in Genesee County.
Below is a look at some places in the community holding fish fries each Friday through Easter.
Hammerberg Memorial Post 3720
3131 Elms Road, Swartz Creek
Each Friday beginning Feb. 20 through April 3, 4:30-7 p.m.
The post offers a menu with several choices.
The menu is as follows:
Fish Dinner (Cod)
Large (3 pieces): $14
Small (2 pieces): $12
Chicken Dinner
Large (3 pieces): $12
Small (2 pieces): $9
Shrimp Dinner
Large (6 pieces): $14
Combo Plates - $14 each
Combo 1 – 2 pieces fish & 3 pieces shrimp
Combo 2 – 2 pieces Chicken & 2 pieces Fish
Combo 3 – 2 pieces Chicken & 3 pieces Shrimp
All Dinners Include:
Choice of french fries or onion rings with coleslaw and roll
Add ons:
French Fries: $3/order
Onion Rings: $3/order
Fish: $4/piece
Shrimp: $2/piece
Chicken: $2/piece
Coleslaw: $1/each

American Legion Grand Blanc Post 413

Every Friday, beginning Feb. 20 through April 3, 5-7 p.m.
Two-piece dinners run $12, while a three-piece dinner costs $15.

St John Church Catholic Church, parish hall
450 N. Dayton St., Davison
Every Friday until Easter, 11 a.m-7 p.m.
The Friday fish fry, sponsored by the Knights of Columbus, includes a dinner with a choice of fried or baked fish, a roll, beverage, baked potato or French
fries, and macaroni and cheese or coleslaw.
Dinners are $15 per person and available for take-out or dine-in. The Daughters of Isabella is providing dessert, with a $2 donation.

Christ the King Catholic Church
1811 Seymour Ave., Flint
Every Friday during Lent, 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
A dinner for $15 includes three pieces of fish (catfish or walleye), two sides (choice of spaghetti, coleslaw or green beans), bread and dessert.
A sandwich meal for $10 includes two pieces of fish and bread, while a single piece of fish is $4.
Proceeds from the fish fry, available for dine-in or take-out, benefit the programs of the Knights and Ladies of St. Peter Claver Father Dukette Unit 90.

here they do a fish fry at a church called st. ferdinand's. i forgot the prices. if you think the church fish fries are too pricy, culver's has a cod sandwich
that is decent. they shouldn't be serving chicken on a friday though at church. lol.

Go to the asian or eastern euro store. Much cheaper prices.
