Boldrey traveled to the nation’s capital for the Tourette Association of America’s annual Tourette National Advocacy Day, where she met with Sen. Gary Peters and Sen. Elissa Slotkin, along with congressional representatives of Rep. Debbie Dingell and Rep. Tom Barrett, according to a news release. “I want people to better understand what Tourette syndrome really is and what it’s like to live with it,” Boldrey said in a statement. “Advocacy Day is an incredible opportunity to share my story with lawmakers and help make sure the Tourette community is heard.”Replies require login.
