Made in Japan; a rare country song 

Made in Japan by Buck Owens is a pretty unique song. Many country songs are about small town America, but this one is about travel and a long distance
relationship. Aside from the lyrics, the music itself is cool. I realize maybe some post WWII exoticization of a far away place, but I like that the song is
aspirational and global rather than small town focused.

buck owens also isn’t as overtly western as say marty robbins, but there are some western vibes too in his music which makes sense given he is from texas.
it’s not pure nashville vibes.
